Traffic Forecasting is the process of estimating the number of vehicles or passengers that will engage in travel on a specific transportation facility. Research of the movement and distribution of cars, trucks and people is the core foundation to traffic forecasting. The projection of peak hour traffic and daily traffic demands for the horizon period is needed for different aspect of the design process.
